What is this board? This is where all the work on the multi-unit residential project is tracked. Every unit on every floor has its own row. Your job is simple — update each task as you work on it. Your project manager sees every update in real time.
01 — How to Find Your Units
1
Open Monday.com
Go to aestheticec.monday.com on your phone or computer. Log in with the account your project manager invited you to.
2
Find the right board
Look for [Board Name] in the left sidebar. Tap it to open.
3
Find your floor
Units are grouped by floor — 2nd Floor, 3rd Floor, and so on. Scroll down to find the floor you are working on today.
4
Find your unit
Each row is a unit — 2A, 2B, 3A, etc. Tap the row to open it and see all the tasks for that unit.
02 — How to Update a Task
Each unit has tasks organized by phase. Scroll left and right across the columns to see all tasks.
1
Find the task column
Tasks are labeled with their phase number — for example: 1. Rough-In conduit/Boxes, 2. Panelboard Installed, 3. Kitchen Device Trim, etc.
2
Tap the status cell
Tap the colored cell under the task column for your unit. A menu will pop up with status options.
3
Choose the right status
Pick the status that matches where you are right now. See Section 03 below for what each status means.
4
That's it
The board updates automatically. Your project manager is notified. You do not need to call or text unless it is truly urgent.
03 — What Each Status Means
| Status | When to use it |
| Working on it | You have started this task. Use this the moment you begin. |
| Done | This task is 100% complete. Only mark Done when it is truly finished — no exceptions. |
| Stuck | Something is blocking you and you cannot move forward. Mark this immediately — your project manager will be notified right away. |
| Ready to Start | Set automatically when the previous phase is complete. You do not need to set this yourself. |
| — (empty) | Not started yet. Leave it blank until you begin. |
04 — The Phase Order
Every unit goes through 4 phases in order. The board is set up so phases unlock automatically — you cannot skip ahead.
Rough-In conduit/Boxes→Home Runs Pulled→Jumpers Pulled→Internal Rough Inspection
Panelboard Installed→Panel Labeled→Breakers Installed→Meter Bank Connections
General Device Trim→Kitchen Device Trim→Appliance Connections→Bathroom/GFCI Trim→Lighting→Wall Plate Trim
Dead-Front Check→AFCI/GFCI Test→Internal Punch List→DOB Inspection
05 — Material Orders
Follow this process for ordering materials. Do not skip steps unless it is a true emergency.
THURSDAY
Send your full material list to the site team.
FRIDAY
List goes to Mario for approval and supplier selection.
SAME DAY
Once approved, release the order before 4:00 PM to ensure it goes through.
🚨 Urgent / Emergency Orders
If something is needed immediately and cannot wait until Thursday — mark the task
Stuck on the board and call your project manager right away. Emergency orders bypass the normal process but must be approved first.
06 — Rules to Follow
✅
Update the board the same day you start or finish a task. Do not wait until the end of the week.
✅
Mark a task Stuck immediately when something is blocking you. Your project manager needs to know right away.
✅
Only mark a task Done when it is 100% complete. No partial credit.
❌
Do not delete any columns, groups, or rows. If something looks wrong, call your project manager.
❌
Do not change the phase summary columns (Phase 1, Phase 2, etc.). These update automatically.
❌
Do not mark something Done just to make the board look good. Accuracy is everything.
📞 When to call your project manager directly
If something is a safety issue, major damage, or needs a decision within the hour — call or text directly. The board is for tracking progress. Emergencies get a phone call.
